Michigan State added another big visitor to the SpartanMag.com summer official visitor list, as Auburndale (Fla.) Lakeland High four-star Keon Young announces his trip to East Lansing for May 31.

Young holds other offers from Florida, Oregon, Oklahoma, Washington, Tennessee, Texas A&M, and others. He will also take an official visit to Minnesota (June 7), Kansas (June 14), and South Florida (June 21). Young tells SpartanMag.com he is also hoping to set up trips to Tennessee and Kentucky.

Michigan State secondary coach Blue Adams along with cornerbacks coach Demetrice Martin have been in touch with the four-star since arriving in East Lansing. The Spartans made his top ten list in mid-February.

“I hope to see how things are run up there and to know if I want to be there or not,” Young told SpartanMag.com of the official visit.

“I have been taking to coach Blue and Coach Martin. They say how much they love me and need me up there on that field.”

Young (6-0, 170) is ranked four-star, the No. 226 overall recruit in the 2025 On3 Industry Rankings. He is also ranked the No. 19 safety and the No. 36 recruit in Florida.

“I am a big play machine,” he said. “I want to pick the ball and score.”

Michigan State will also welcome 2025 in-state tight end Jayden Savoury for an official visit over the weekend of May 31. Savoury is a top target for tight ends coach Brian Wozniak, as he has already made multiple trips to East Lansing.

Young is the first defensive back added to the summer visitor list. Michigan State will welcome four-star cornerback Graceson Littleton, of Tampa (FL), along with three-stars Jayden Shipps, Alijah Jones, and others this spring.
