Michigan State will host a handful of priority visits during the March 30 spring practice as SpartanMag.com breaks down the list. You can find the full SpartanMag.com spring visitor list here.

2025:

Four-star WR Jeff Exinor, Baltimore, (MD) McDonogh School

Michigan State will welcome four-star wide receiver Jeff Exinor (6-1, 210) for his first visit to East Lansing during the practice. Exinor was offered by wide receivers coach Courtney Hawkins and offensive assistant Cordale Grundy back in February.

Exinor has an official visit set up to Virginia Tech on April 12, along with a trip to PennState for June 7. Michigan State will look to join the mix for a summer official visit with a strong weekend trip.

The receiver is ranked a four-star, the No. 257 overall recruit in the 2025 On3 Industry Rankings. He is also ranked the No. 34 wide receiver and the No. 5 recruit in Maryland. Exinor holds other offers from WisconsinUSCTennesseeOregonMichigan, and others.

Michigan State also welcomed three-star wide receiver Braydon Trimble, of Mt. Zion (Ill.) for an unofficial visit on March 23. In-state receivers Bryson Williams and Kamren Flowers will also visit East Lansing this spring. Three-star Maryland receiver Giyahni Kontosis will visit Michigan State on April 6, with three-star Texas receiver Rahim Hutchins visiting on April 20. Hawkins and the Spartans will also host Pittsburgh (PA) WR Bradley Gompers over the weekend as we mention him later on.

Four-star LB Dante McClellan, Canton (OH) McKinley

The Spartans will also welcome four-star Ohio linebacker Dante McClellan for an unofficial visit over the weekend. McClellan (6-2, 200) was scheduled to visit East Lansing last weekend but could not make the trip due to the weather. He visited Michigan State for the Feb. 3 junior day.

Michigan State and defensive coordinator/linebackers coach Joe Rossi will look to enhance their standing in the tight recruitment by scheduling a summer official visit as well. He will take an official visit to Missouri on June 21, with Tennessee, Kentucky, and others also pushing.

McClellan is ranked a four-star, the No. 315 overall recruit in his class by the 2025 On3 Industry Rankings. The linebacker is also ranked the No. 32 recruit at his position, and the No. 13 recruit in Ohio.

Michigan State and Rossi also welcomed Ohio linebacker Grant Beerman to East Lansing for the first practice of the spring on March 19. Beerman is another top priority target for Rossi and the Spartans. Class of 2025 in-state linebacker DiMari Malone will also visit Michigan State on March 23.

In-state linebacker Charles White has also been made a top target, being offered by Michigan State back in December of 2023. White will take an official visit to Michigan State in June, as the Spartans sit well early with all three linebacker targets mentioned above.

Three-star TE Tyler Kielmeyer, Westerville (OH) South

Michigan State will also welcome three-star 2025 tight end Tyler Kielmeyer for the spring practice as well. Kielmeyer (6-7, 235) was offered by the Spartans back in January as tight ends coach Brian Wozniak visited his school.

The Ohio tight end holds other offers from Wisconsin, Purdue, Illinois, Indiana, and others. He is ranked a three-star, the No. 508 overall recruit and the No. 17 recruit in Ohio in the 2025 On3 Industry Rankings.

Michigan State and Wozniak welcomed in-state tight end Jayden Savoury for multiple unofficial visits this spring. Another high priority target for the Spartans, Caden Piening visited for the March 28 spring practice. Saint Louis (MO) tight end Jackson Kohl will visit East Lansing on April 6.

Three-star DB Desmond Straughton, Roseville (Mich.)

A familiar face for the Spartans will return on March 30 in three-star in-state safety Desmond Straughton. Straughton visited Michigan State for the Feb. 3 junior day as he is also slotted to return to East Lansing on April 6. The new Spartan staff is yet to offer Straughton, but secondary coach Blue Adams has made him priority despite not extending the offer just yet.

Straughton holds other offers from Arizona State, Kentucky, Cincinnati, Minnesota, and others. He is ranked a three-star, the No. 499 overall recruit in the 2025 On3 Industry Rankings. Straughton is also ranked the No. 8 recruit in Michigan.

WR Bradley Gompers, Pittsburgh (PA) Catholic Central

Michigan State will also welcome class of 2025 offered wide receiver Bradley Gompers for the practice. Gompers (6-5, 205) holds other offers from Pittsburgh, West Virginia, Rutgers, and others as he makes his first visit to East Lansing. He is not yet ranked by the 2025 On3 Industry Rankings.

Gompers was offered by Michigan State back in January as defensive coordinator Joe Rossi stopped by the school. The Pittsburgh receiver is a bigger bodied target than most of the other, previously mentioned, wide receivers.

Currently unoffered targets:

Muskegon 2025 offensive linemen Jim Harris and N’Kye Wynn will both make the trip back to East Lansing for the practice. Harris (6-5, 295) visited Michigan State for the March 26 spring practice as well. He holds offers from Cincinnati, Pittsburgh and more. Wynn (6-5, 255) will make his first Spartan visit of the spring. His offers include Kentucky, Kansas, Rutgers, and more.

Another in-state lineman Justin Bell, of Macomb (Mich.) Dakota will visit Michigan State this afternoon. Bell (6-8, 265) holds offers from Indiana, Central Michigan, and others. Class of 2025 in-state defensive tackle Brendon Rice, of Farmington (Mich.) will also visit. He holds offers from Eastern Michigan, Miami (OH), and others.

In the class of 2026, Michigan State will host safety Amir Morelan, Port Huron (Mich.) Northern. Morelan (6-0, 160) holds offers from Penn State, Syracuse, and others.
