Michigan State will welcome five-star 2025 offensive tackle Andrew Babalola, of Overland Park (KS) Blue Valley Northwest High School for an unofficial visit this afternoon, sources tell SpartanMag.com. Babalola (6-6, 280) is a ranked a five-star recruit, the No. 14 overall in his class by the 2025 On3 Industry Rankings. He is also ranked the No. 3 offensive tackle in his class and the No. 1 recruit in Kansas.

The five-star recruit will take in the third Michigan State spring practice. Babalola visited Michigan yesterday as he stopped in East Lansing for the day on March 23. He holds offers from Oklahoma, Georgia, Alabama, Penn State, Texas A&M, Tennessee, and others.

It is the first visit to Michigan State for Babalola, who was offered by Spartan offensive line coach Jim Michalczik during a trip to his school in January. Babalola is the highest ranked visitor of the spring for Michigan State so far, likely to remain that way for the spring.

Michalczik also offered four-star offensive line teammate Brock Heath, also of Blue Valley Northwest. Heath will visit Michigan State on April 6, as the Spartans and Michalczik look to compete in both heavily contested recruitments.

Michigan State is also welcoming unofficial visits from four-star 2025 linebacker Dante McClellan of Canton (OH), along with three-star cornerback Cashus Shivers of Detroit (Mich.) Cass Tech High School, and other visitors. In the 2026 class, the spartans will welcome four-star cornerback Victor Singleton of Toledo (OH) Catholic Central. The Spartans have already played host to Ohio offensive tackle Nolan Davenport, of Massillon (OH) Washington High School, for an unofficial visit on March 21. Davenport holds other offers from Kentucky, Stanford, Pittsburgh, Missouri, and others.
