With National Signing Day quickly approaching, Dash spoke with the staff down at FIU and committed to and signed with the Golden Panthers on Wednesday. However after some thought, he communicated with the FIU staff, got out of his letter of intent and re-committed / signed with the Huskies a day later.
As a senior this past high school football season, Dash finished with 20 total tackles (15 solo), 1.0 tackle for loss, three pass breakups, one interception, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery playing for Lake Gibson High School.
Now that Dash is back to be a member of the 2026 UConn Football recruiting class, he becomes the fifth prospect to do so for the Huskies this cycle. The addition also brings the Huskies recruiting class ranking up to No. 137 overall per the Rivals Industry Rankings.
