Breeders' Cup: Flightline dusts the field for Classic win

The Breeders’ Cup Classic did not have any surprises as Flightline smoked the entire field in the mile-and-a-quarter race around Keeneland. At 1-2 odds on the board, KSR’s “Kobe Bryant of horses” sat comfortably behind Life Is Good for most of the race before taking the lead at the top of the stretch and running away with an eighth-length victory for the six million dollar prize.
“It is Flightline in a spine-tingling, jaw-dropping, awe-inspiring, Secretariat-like Breeders’ Cup Classic win!”

Flightline is one of the GOATs
Trained by John Sadler and ridden by Flavian Prat, Flightline remained undefeated with the Breeders’ Cup Classic win, the sixth in the short career of the four-year-old colt. Flightline won his six races by an insane 70 ¾ lengths in total, which is why many in the know are calling him one of the best of all time, if not the best of all time.
Up next, Flightline’s owners are faced with the decision of retiring him to breeding or running him even more to flaunt his greatness. The expectation is we may have seen him run for the last time.
