Last night American Idol decided its three finalists for next week’s Sunday finale. There were five contestants singing for the three final spots in the competition and Louisa, Kentucky’s own Noah Thompson was among the performers still alive on the ballot.

Before we spoil the semifinal result at the bottom, have a listen to Noah’s two performances in yesterday’s round. He started with “So Small” by Carrie Underwood, who guest-starred as his mentor for the week. For his second song, Noah sang “Working Man” by Larry Fleet.

Listen to both and then scroll on down to see if his journey is still alive.
