2023 Tampa (FL) Carrollwood Day three-star CB Eddie Pleasant has signed with Michigan State. Pleasant, standing at 5-foot-11, 178-pounds, originally committed to the Spartans on April 17, 2022. Pleasant held additional offers from Florida State, Penn State, Tennessee, Iowa, and more. The 2023 On3 Consensus three-star is ranked No. 788 nationally, the No. 80 cornerback, and the No. 120 player in the state of Florida.
On3 rates Pleasant a three-star prospect (86.00), the No. 116 cornerback, and the No. 151 player in the state of Florida. Pleasant does not hold a national ranking, according to On3.
“I am just blessed to be a Spartan,” Pleasant told SpartanMag.com prior to signing day. “The love they have for me and how bad they show that they wanted me and needed me.”
“I have dreamed of this moment since I was a child and now it is here,” Pleasant wrote in his original commitment announcement. “First, I want to give thanks to my lord and savior for blessing me with so much. None of this would be possible without him. Next I would like to thank my parents who have sacrificed so much for me to be in this position. I am so grateful and thankful for their endless support.
