One of the players who has most been connected to Oklahoma over the past month is Bauxite, Ark. safety Marcus Wimberly. The talented defender, and former Arkansas commitment, visited Oklahoma in early February and came away glowing about his trip to Norman.
“It was absolutely outstanding. The team is truly a family. The S.O.U.L mission stuff is so awesome. They really want to yes make you a better football player, but really a better man, son, husband, etc. [I’m] just extremely thankful for that awesome opportunity,” Wimberly said at the time.
“The coaches and true family feel were really the two things that really stood out to me. It was great to be in such a great environment.”
