Predicting the Pac: Week Five
Well Duck fans, we don’t have a game this week. And I’d love to sell you on this being a really exciting weekend in the Pac. Instead, it’s fairly boring. But don’t fear, there are some really good games outside the Pac-12 to get us through Saturday.
Here is a quick look at the games on the slate this weekend in the conference of champions and my picks.
All games are on Saturday this week.
Wazzu @ UCLA
12:00 – Pac-12
Probably the game of the week. A couple weeks back I probably would have picked the Bruins. But now I think Washington State should win in convincing fashion. This is one of those games that really helps us identify those mid-tier teams and who’s actually worthy.

Colorado @ ASU
3:30 – Pac-12
Low key, might end up being an intriguing game. Really this is going to tell us a lot about Colorado. And possibly even USC and Oregon. Can ASU make a game of this? They shouldn’t. But something tells me they might. I think Colorado wins a tight one. And our questions about USC get even more real.
Oregon State @ Cal
7:00 – Pac-12
Should be an easy dub for OSU. Cal is terrible. Even if it’s Pac-12 after dark.
Arizona @ USC
7:30 – ESPN
Arizona gave UW a game last week. Can they do the same with USC? I think they can make it a game, but the better team will win. USC.
