ScoopDuck Game Balls vs Colorado
Coming off the huge win over Colorado it’s time to deliver our game balls. As you know by now these are our top performers from the game.
Win or lose we do this every week. But this week was a little tougher with so many great performances in the win.
But let’s get right into the game balls for the Oregon win over Colorado.
Jhop: Khyree Jackson
I wanted to go with Bo Nix here but I had to give Khyree his dues. No matter what his stat line reads, Jackson was a FORCE on Saturday. My only concern, ONLY concern was Colorado’s pass game getting going. And they did not. And when it didn’t it all fell apart for the Buffs. Credit Khyree with a huge game. Perhaps his best as a Duck thus far and a sign of what’s to come.
Joel Gunderson: Jordan Burch
I mean, pick your player off Oregon’s defense and no one would argue. Khyree, Dorlus, Hill, Williams, almost every player who stepped foot onto the field balled out. But I’m giving mine to Burch, who, perhaps more than any player, has the capacity to alter the Ducks’ defense for the remainder of the season.

He notched another sack, was in on multiple pressures, blitzed from the middle of the field, and looked more comfortable and fast than any time yet.
If this is a sign of things to come…whoa, boy. This will be fun.
Jarrid Denney: Evan Williams
Oregon’s senior safety set the tone for the Ducks on Saturday and was an absolute menace throughout the first half. Williams finished with four tackles, including three solo stops, and delivered 1.5 crucial sacks. He played a team-high 46 snaps and gave up just four yards on three catches in coverage.
Doug Scott: Oregon Defense
Game ball goes to the entire defense. Holding Colorado to 22 yards in the first half and 80 through 3 quarters was a total team effort. Defensive line, linebackers, defensive backs were all dominant.
