The 6-2, 20-pound Takeifanga–a guard–is a product of the College of San Mateo where he played guard. The native of Sacramento, Calif., was a part of San Mateo’s National Championship squad in 2024, arning All Bay 6 Conference honors.

Purdue has already added nine portal offensive linemen: Marques Easley (Georgia), Tyrell Green (Eastern Kentucky), Bradyn Joiner(Auburn), Jude McCoskey (Tulane), Marc Nave (Kentucky), Hank Purvis (UNLV), Jalen “Chop” St. John (UNLV), Giordano Vaccaro (Canada), Mason Vicari (UNLV).
