After watching the Longhorns play Ohio State in Columbus last weekend, Kesean Bowman is now set to see Texas in Austin.

The 6-foot-1, 160-pound junior four-star and Nashville (Tenn.) Brentwood Academy receiver committed to Oregon in late July, but that hasn’t stopped him from connecting with other schools. One of those being Texas.

He’s been building with Texas WR coach Chris Jackson on a regular basis and will be in Austin on November 1st for the Vanderbilt game.

He’ll also be in Tennessee on September 13th, then see Oregon on September 20th, October 11th, and November 22nd.

Ultimately, Bowman chose Oregon over Tennessee, and that’s why we’re watching the Vols in this recruitment. But he’s eager to give Texas a shot.

His game is similar to Devonta Smith, former Alabama wide receiver and Heisman Trophy winner that Steve Sarkisian coached.

Bowman is the No. 51 overall prospect, No. 10 rated wide receiver, and No. 2 prospect in Tennessee for the Class of 2027, according to the Rivals Industry Rankings.
