In the latest episode of Inside the Program with Joe Cook and Eric Nahlin, the two go over Inside Texas’ most recent insider notes on the Texas Longhorns as Steve Sarkisian’s team has the week off.
The two start with a look at the team’s work over the past few days without a game to prepare for. Important players are getting rest while others are making the most of chances to work with starters and backups. Health is paramount as the Longhorns need players like Michael Taaffe and Jelani McDonald. The two also go over how Texas is already doing some work in preparation for Georgia, who has to play this week while the Longhorns are at home.
Highlight play from Colin Simmons and Ethan Burke is the next topic. The Texas EDGE room has been phenomenal this year with those two leading the way. While they are in the spotlight, others like Lance Jackson, Colton Vasek, and Brad Spence have earned recognition. So too has position coach LaAllan Clark, who is reaping the benefits on the recruiting trail.
