Fresh off a dramatic 30-29 overtime victory in comeback fashion at Wake Forest on Saturday, the 5-0 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets saw mixed results in movement in the two major polls on Sunday.

Tech moved to No. 16 in the new AFCA Coaches Poll, up one spot from No. 17 in that poll last week, while the Jackets are now 17 in Associated Press Top 25 after being No. 16 in that poll the previous week.

Georgia Tech debuted in both top 25 polls following its Week 3 win over Clemson as it was ranked in both for the first time since Week 3 of the 2015 season. The streak of three straight weeks ranked in both polls is the longest streak since the Jackets were ranked for the first four weeks of the 2015 season.

The Jackets will have an idle week after their unbeaten start and then return home to Bobby Dodd Stadium on Oct. 11 to host Virginia Tech (2-3, 1-0 ACC) with a kickoff time to be announced likely on Monday. Tech is 5-0 for only the fourth time in the last 59 seasons (1990, 2011, 2014, 2025).
