Oregon's Kayvon Thibodeaux becomes fourth unanimous All-American in program history
Kayvon Thibodeaux is officially a unanimous All-American.
The American Football Coaches Association released its All-American team Wednesday morning and tabbed Thibodeaux as a first-team selection. He has now been selected to all five major teams and has achieved unanimous All-American status as a result.
Thibodeaux becomes just the fourth Duck ever to accomplish that and the first since Penei Sewell in 2019. Marcus Mariota (2014) and LaMichael James (2010) all were consensus All-Americans.

Thibodeaux has declared for the NFL Draft and will not play in the Alamo Bowl. He finished the 2021 season with 49 tackles, including 12 for loss, and seven sacks in 11 games.
Oregon safety Verone McKinley III was already a consensus All-American entering Wednesday and was a second-team selection by the AFCA.
