One of our final two roundtables for the week and we predict who will have a breakout game vs Wisconsin. This one is expected to be a blowout so it could be a number of players putting up big performances.

But our job is to try and identify who might have the biggest on each side of the ball.

Here are those predictions from the ScoopDuck team.

————————————————————-

Max Torres:

Offense: Jordon Davison

Davison has been Mr. Consistent for Oregon’s offense this year and he’s shined as a runner and a blocker. With Jayden Limar expected to miss some time, this is a perfect opportunity for him to take on a larger share of the offense. He’s up to the task

Defense: Blake Purchase

During Oregon’s blowout win over Rutgers, Purchase was featured much more prominently. I expect Matayo Uiagalelei to get his usual start, but this game shouldn’t be close and I see Purchase making the most of his snaps on the edge once again. He builds on his interception and overall strong performance in the Northeast.

Corpatty:

Offense: Dakorien Moore

After catching two passes against Rutgers, Moore will be more involved against Wisconsin.   Look for Moore to top 100 yards receiving and notch two TDs.

Defense: Brandon Finney

Wash, rinse, repeat.  I went with Finney the last two weeks and he hasn’t let me down.  I’m sticking with Finney to have another big game and notch another interception.

Ted Leroux:

Offense: Dakorien Moore

Although Wisconsin’s run defense has been one of the few bright spots for the Badgers, their pass defense has struggled mightily against top-tier opponents—allowing 393 yards to Ohio State and 382 to Alabama. I expect Oregon to post similar numbers through the air, with Dakorien Moore emerging as the featured pass catcher. Look for Moore to deliver his best performance as a Duck so far, earning my offensive MVP for the week.

Defense: Aaron Flowers

You could make a case for just about anyone on Oregon’s starting defense to earn defensive MVP honors this week. For my pick, I’m going with Aaron Flowers to record interceptions in back-to-back games. I expect Oregon’s corners to shut down Wisconsin’s receivers on the perimeter—but that won’t stop Hunter Simmons from testing them anyway. Simmons has thrown four interceptions over his last three games, and Flowers always seems to be in the right place to make a play.

Jhop:

Offense: Dierre Hill Jr.

Pick your poison here. Oregon should have no issue putting up numbers. Of course Dante Moore is the ring leader of it all so he’ll get his. But let’s pick someone else. I think Oregon has done a steady rotation of running backs. Noah looks good and is back. Jordon gets his. I think we’ll see a few huge big plays from Dierre this weekend. His explosive ability is second-to-none.

Defense: Matayo Uiagelelei

I called earlier this week Uiagelelei will break out this week with three sacks. I’m riding with that one still and I think Oregon fans will be excited to see him have his breakout game vs Wisconsin.
