Purdue adds safety from transfer portal

First-year Purdue coach Barry Odom continues to turn over the roster, adding safety Myles Slusher from the transfer portal.
Slusher was a 2021 four-star recruit who signed with Arkansas out of high school when Odom was the defensive coordinator of the Razorbacks. Slusher will have two years of eligibility.
Slusher, who has 110 tackles, 11 TFLs and two interceptions in his career, was out of football in 2024.
The 6-0, 195-pound Slusher played in three seasons at Arkansas, taking part in 23 games and starting 15 with 93 tackles, nine tackles for loss, two and a half sacks, one forced fumble, seven pass deflections and two interceptions.
