2026 LB target Calvin Thomas sets commitment date
2026 Houston (Texas) Cy-Ranch linebacker Calvin Thomas has set his commitment date. Thomas, a four-star prospect according to the On3 Industry Ranking and On3, will announce on July 12.

Thomas’ finalists are Texas, North Carolina, Nebraska, Michigan, and SMU.
Inside Texas’ Charlie Williams entered a prediction last week for the Longhorns to land Thomas. The prediction was made during the Cy-Ranch star’s official visit to Texas. Thomas interacted plenty with freshman linebacker Elijah Barnes.
Justin Wells offered this regarding the latest recruiting intel on Johnny Nansen‘s linebacker recruiting efforts on Monday.
