MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin head coach Luke Fickell addresses the media following Saturday’s 13-10 win over No. 24 Washington.

The Badgers trailed 10-3 at the half, but got a strip-sack from true freshman linebacker Mason Posa to set up the game-tying touchdown run from true freshman quarterback Carter Smith. The Badgers took a 13-10 lead with 1:58 left in the third quarter, courtesy of a 32-yard field goal from Nathanial Vakos.

Wisconsin ended its six-game losing streak and 12 in a row against power-four conference foes. The Badgers also notched their first win over a ranked opponent since 2021.
