Easter weekend may shift the schedule up a day, but the stakes remain as high as ever. A top-four tilt in Alabama, a pair of pivotal ACC series, and a clash between Louisiana mid-majors headline a slate that continues to intensify as the calendar turns to April.

1. No. 1 Texas @ No. 4 Alabama

Where: Tuscaloosa, Alabama
When: April 2-4
What’s it on: April 2: SECN+, April 3: SECN, April 4: ESPN

What do we want to see: Two of the nation’s top teams collide in one of college softball’s premier environments. While Jocelyn Briski and Teagan Kavan headline a star-studded pitching matchup, both lineups have the firepower to make things interesting. With a regular-season crown in sight for each program, this series could provide a crucial edge down the stretch.

2. No. 12 Virginia @ No. 19 Duke

Where: Durham, North Carolina
When: April 2-4
What’s it on: ACCNX

What do we want to see: Speaking of title races, the ACC spotlight shifts to Durham for a pivotal showdown. Duke has surged in conference play, while Virginia continues its steady roll, placing both squarely in the hunt for a regional host spot. With a crucial series win up for grabs, Duke’s high-powered offense meets a Virginia staff that’s proven it can hang with the nation’s best.

3. No. 10 Georgia @ No. 17 Texas A&M

Where: College Station, Texas
When: April 2-4
What’s it on: April 2-3: SECN+, April 4: SECN

What do we want to see: The Aggies snapped the nation’s longest winning streak on Sunday and now look to carry that momentum forward. Texas A&M’s bats have come alive to open SEC play, but can they find consistency in the circle? Georgia’s lineup is more than capable of testing that. The Bulldogs have proven they’re a complete team, and with a healthy bullpen, they’re firmly in the mix for a national seed. A series win in College Station would go a long way in boosting Georgia’s postseason résumé.

4. No. 25 Clemson @ No. 13 Virginia Tech

Where: Blacksburg, Virginia
When: April 2-4
What’s it on: April 2-3: ACCNX, April 4: ACCN

What do we want to see: There may not be a bigger series this weekend than the one in Blacksburg. Clemson missed its chance against Florida State but gets another marquee opportunity here. The Tigers have been inconsistent, yet remain firmly in the mix for a regional host spot. If Sierra Maness can deliver in the circle and will Clemson to a pair of wins, it would make a significant impact. Virginia Tech, meanwhile, is doing what it always does—swinging the bats at a high level. And with the reliable 1-2 punch of Emma Mazzarone and Bree Carrico in the circle, the Hokies have the balance to capitalize on a high-stakes weekend.

5. No. 15 Mississippi State @ No. 7 Florida

Where: Gainesville, Florida
When: April 3-5
What’s it on: April 3: SECN+, April 4: SECN, April 5: SECN+

What do we want to see: Florida returns home after its first series loss, while Mississippi State comes in fresh off its first series win of the season. How each team responds to that shift in momentum is always fun to track. The Bulldogs have continued to impress behind Alyssa Faircloth and Peja Goold, keeping Mississippi State in low-scoring games. Meanwhile, the Gators bring plenty of firepower at the plate. This matchup sets up as a true strength-on-strength battle—and could be the toughest test yet for Florida’s bats and the Bulldogs’ bullpen.

6. No. 18 Washington @ Stanford

Where: Stanford, California
When: April 2, April 4
What’s it on: ACCNX

What do we want to see: These two programs have trended in opposite directions since the start of conference play, and now former Pac-12 rivals meet in a non-conference clash with résumé implications. Washington has found its stride behind a potent, top-heavy lineup and the arm of Morgan Reimer. Stanford, meanwhile, has seen a strong impact from Zoe Prystajko in the circle, but the Cardinal need to find a way to close out games late.

7. Arizona State @ Kansas

Where: Lawrence, Kansas
When: April 2-4
What’s it on: ESPN+

What do we want to see: Kansas has taken a major step forward this season, boasting a .364 team batting average and leaning heavily on its offensive production to fuel postseason hopes. Arizona State enters on a five-game win streak and is also powered by its ability to drive the ball out of the yard. This weekend in Lawrence sets the stage for a high-powered showdown between two teams pushing for Big 12 prominence—one that could feature plenty of offense and carry significant postseason implications.

8. Nevada @ No. 24 Grand Canyon

Where: Phoenix, Arizona
When: April 2-4
What’s it on: Mountain West Network

What do we want to see: The Mountain West is teetering on the edge of being a one-bid league. Nevada hopes to change that. The Wolfpack have notched some quality wins, but perhaps none would be bigger than a series win this weekend. Grand Canyon, meanwhile, looks to remain unbeaten in conference play. When it comes to stakes, this is as important of a matchup across any conference this weekend.

9. No. 20 LSU @ Missouri

Where: Columbia, Missouri
When: April 2-4
What’s it on: April 2-3: SECN+, April 4: SECN

What do we want to see: What a run Missouri has put together. The home Tigers still have work to do, but a series win this weekend is firmly within reach for Larissa Anderson’s squad. Both teams enter with plenty at stake. LSU is looking to solidify its place in the regional host conversation, and a series loss could deal a blow to those aspirations. Missouri, meanwhile, needs to keep its momentum rolling—another strong weekend in Columbia would go a long way.

10. Southeastern Louisiana @ McNeese State

Where: Lake Charles, Louisiana
When: April 2-3
What’s it on: ESPN+

What do we want to see: Two of the headliners out of the Southland conference will take on each other this weekend. The Cowgirls and Lions have dominated the conference the last couple of seasons and a series win for either team will hold major seeding implications down the line. Depending on the outcome of this series, the Southland could have two teams in the Tournament come May.
