WATCH: Lagway fumble leads to KD Daniels' first-career TD

Friday’s Gasparilla Bowl hasn’t been the prettiest display of football, but there has definitely been some exciting moments in the second half.
One of them was a DJ Lagway fumble on a quarterback sneak that led to the first-career touchdown for freshman running back KD Daniels.
Lagway was initially in the shotgun formation but then hurried up to the line for a quarterback sneak; however, there was a fumble on the snap and that’s when Daniels quickly scooped up the ball and took it 27 yards for a Florida touchdown. It was an explosive and a heads up play that can be viewed below.
Daniels, a native of West Point, Mississippi, was a 4-star prospect and the No. 15-ranked running back in the 2024 On3 Industry Ranking. He was also the 172nd-ranked prospect regardless of position.
