Purdue lands commitment from 2024 Illinois three-star DB LeonTre Bradford

Purdue has added another defensive back to its 2024 recruiting class by landing a commitment today from LeonTre “Smiley” Bradford, who projects as a safety.
The 5-9, 190-pound Bradford is a three-star recruit from East St. Louis (Ill.) High. He’s the second player from East St. Louis to commit to Purdue in the Class of 2024, joining WR Jesse Watson.

Bradford is the 21st commitment in Purdue’s Class of 2024 and the eighth defensive back, joining Hudauri Hines, D’Mon Marable, Jo’Ziah Edmond, Luke Williams, Earl Kulp, Koy Beasley and William Nettles.
Bradford had offers from Missouri, Michigan State and Arkansas, among others. He took an official visit to Purdue June 23-25 and also was on campus for a team camp and spring practice.
