BC players open up Senior Bowl week in impressive fashion
Throughout this week, Lewis Bond, Logan Taylor, Jude Bowry and Quintayvious Hutchins are all repping BC at the Panini (formerly and still should be properly named Reese’s) Senior Bowl.
The game itself is this Saturday after the East-West Shrine Bowl officially kicked off NFL Draft season last weekend. Bond and Hutchins both shined on the first day of practice Wednesday, with Hutchins putting up arguably the best pash rush rep of the day, sending an O-lineman tumbling to the ground and drawing a roar from his ‘teammates’ for the week.
Meanwhile, Lewis Bond also stood out during some 1-on-1 stuff, getting separation a few times and hauling passes in. Jude Bowry’s also impressed at times during 1-on-1 pass pro, as did Taylor.
Following the practice, Hutchins was interviewed by NFL Network. Here’s what he had to say:
On what he wants NFL teams to be saying about him at the end of the week
“The work ethic I give, The drive that I give, my get off, the way I rush the passer. The way I set the edge. And stuff like that, the way I can be consistent at my job, progress every play and every snap.”
On how not knowing guys may change his approach to the week
“It’s something you learn new from everybody. There’s a lot of people I don’t know, so I’m watching around, seeing if I can pick something up from guys that are my teammates right now, see if I can add something to my game. It’s good being around people you don’t know, learning from people in the ACC, SEC, I feel like it’s been good.”
