Four-Down Territory Q&A: Biding time until June
Ask any team or recruiting questions that have been rattling around in your brain.
I get questions on CJ Baxter and the O-line every week so let me begin by answering a couple of FAQs.
On Baxter, he’s expected to return to practice in August and to be available for the opener. At this time, IT doesn’t know what to expect from him as far as depth chart or production for the season. We will need practice intel. For reference for guys coming off injury, we think it’s likely Christian Clark will make a bigger impact this season.

On O-line, barring a new player being added (have heard nothing new), the starting five seems set with Trevor Goosby–Neto Umeozulu–Cole Hutson–DJ Campbell–Brandon Baker. Campbell has taken on a leadership role and looks great. Goosby will likely start one year before Roger Goodell calls his name. Hutson is viewed as solid to good. Neto is a good run blocker but still a little inconsistent. Baker is a pretty good pass blocker.
