Longhorns are everywhere in the NFL.

Sundays (and Thursdays, Fridays, and Mondays) give Texas fans an extension of their fandom, with plenty of chances to cheer on alumni now wearing professional jerseys. Here’s Longhorn Sunday for Week Two of the NFL slate — the top five moments from Texas veterans around the league.

5) Barryn Sorrell Brings the Gouda in Green Bay

The Packers dominated the Commanders on Thursday. A big part of shutting down Jayden Daniels and the Washington offense was Longhorn Barryn Sorrell. The rookie made his debut and had quite the showing, registering his first sack and hurrying Daniels multiple times. He’s going to be quite the complement to a tough Packers defense which already added Micah Parsons.

4) Dicker the Definitive

Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker now holds the highest FG% in NFL History. Look who previously held the top spot. The Westlake versus Lake Travis rivalry never ends.

3) Byron Murphy = Bowling Ball

Murphy has had a slow start to his Seattle Seahawks career. Especially when you juxtapose it to that of his Texas running mate T’Vondre Sweat. Murphy has dealt with injuries and it’s been hard to find consistency. Finally healthy, he’s off to a dominant sophomore season in the pros. He leads the league in tackles by a DT with (11) and had a fantastic game on Sunday in the Seahawks’ win over Pittsburgh.

2) Bijan makes his regular appearance in this article

Robinson is one of my favorite Longhorns ever. But I’m starting to feel a pain in my chest watching him in the NFL. It’s obvious Texas doesn’t have a back like him on campus right now. Not that they’re many like Bijan Robinson. On Sunday night in the Falcons dominate win over the Vikings, he racked up 168 total yards and had multiple short gains worthy of the highlight reel.

1) MUKUBA!

There was only one choice for the top spot this week and it was Andrew Mukuba‘s. The Austin native and Longhorn wrecked Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. His interception in the redzone was the biggest play of the game and was also effectively a pick of Mahomes, Travis Kelce and the Swifties. What a game for the rookie.
