Rounding up a few of BC's latest offers
A couple weeks after National Signing Day (and with changes still swirling around the program), BC’s new GM Kenyatta Watson and the rest of the staff are hard at work scouring the country for the next potential Eagles.
Here’s a few of the latest recruits BC has offered:
Hawken Anderson, 2027, OL – Suffield Academy (CT)
The 6’4,” 315+ pound O-lineman has been one of the more consistent big men in Connecticut. He currently holds offers from BC, Marshall, UMass, Akron, Liberty, ODU, Toledo and Austin Peay. Perhaps most importantly, he’s the son of new O-line coach (coming over from UMass), Kurt Anderson.
Here’s what Anderson said about Hawken in a recent X post:
“College coaches checking in on Hawken (78) the last couple days asked how his frame projects compared to some of the guys I’ve coached. Figured I’d save the trouble of guessing off tape & with December now dead in recruiting to eyeball guys. You can get those guys verified NFL measurements as standing next to me & Hawken next to me. 6’4” 318 a few weeks ago at 17 y/o. Built like a tank in the lower half; weight up top will redistribute fast in a college S&C program but he’s far from sloppy. Elite feet, football junkie, wants to coach someday & is looking for a great relationship with his future OL coach that will help guide & shape him for life.”
Anthony ‘Speedy’ Jennings, 2027, WR – Dillard HS (FL)
Jennings is a Top-300 ESPN, 4-star recruit out of Florida. He’s got offers from Miami, Florida, Auburn, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Pitt, FIU, Kentucky, Oregon State, Missouri, BC, West Georgia, West Virginia and Maryland.
He’s listed at 6’0,” 160lbs and runs a 4.41 40-yard dash. New wide receivers coach Joe Dailey’s first big fish in his return could be Jennings, who would add dynamic playmaking ability and speed the team desperately needs.
Namajay Thompson, 2027, WR – Crest High School (NC)
Thompson is another speedy wideout from down South, running a 4.4 40-yard dash. Like Jennings, he would bring a speed and play-making element (hopefully) quickly to the offense if he decides to become an Eagle.
Thompson has offers from BC, Wake Forrest, Gardner-Webb, App State, Charlotte, West Virginia, Southern Miss, Toledo, ODU, ECU, Duke, NC Central, Liberty and Marshall.
