Arkansas commit earns Peach Jam MVP honors

Nike’s EYBL Peach Jam is the premier shoe circuit championship event. For the second year in a row, Brad Beal Elite took home the title, and for the second year in a row, Arkansas commit JJ Andrews is a Peach Jam champion. This time, in addition to a champion, Andrews was name MVP.
Andrews, the No. 20 player in the 2026 class, put together an efficient week-plus of performances. The Little Rock native averaged 18.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 2.0 steals per game over the course of Peach Jam, earning him MVP honors.
The heralded wing also drew the attention of Rivals’s Jamie Shaw, who named him a top performer going into championship Sunday.
Brad Beal Elite played Peach Jam with a short bench, just seven total players, but still managed to run the gauntlet to win the title for a second year in a row. Andrews led the team in minutes, points, and fouls drawn, while second in rebounds and steals and third in assists. The future Razorback was incredibly efficient, shooting 47.1% from the field and 73.2% from the free throw line over the final eight games. His performance drew the praise of Fox College Hoops commentator John Fanta.
“JJ is a bulldog,” Fanta told HawgBeat. “The guy was just a relentless competitor all week who is shifty in the lane and doesn’t stop until he gets to and finishes at the rim. He’s a John Calipari wing and will fit in perfectly.”
The Arkansas commit turned heads all week in North Augusta (S.C.) and could be due to rise in the rankings at the next update. Andrews continues to build his high school resume, and could be one of the most decorated Arkansas high school recruits in recent memory if he continues winning and playing at such a high level.
Arkansas head coach John Calipari saw Andrews’s performances firsthand multiple times over the course of the past week.
