Before the Arkansas Razorbacks men’s basketball team heads over to Memphis to take on head coach John Calipari‘s former team in a preseason exhibition on Oct. 27, the Hogs will host the Cincinnati Bearcats in what has been tabbed as the CareSource Invitational at Bud Walton Arena on October 24.

CareSource is an organiztation that focuses on mental health and this will be the second year that Arkansas has hosted a game in conjunction with them.

“We are pleased to host Cincinnati in this exhibition game and once again have the opportunity to highlight the importance of mental health,” said Calipari, who is 6-7 in his career against the Bearcats. “We are grateful for the platform to raise awareness and advocate for a cause that affects so many individuals.”

The Bearcats hold a 3-2 all-time advantage over the Hogs, competing in 1958 (Cincinnati 97-62), 1994 (Arkansas 84-75), 1995 (Cincinnati 82-67), 1997 (Cincinnati 92-57) and 2021 (Arkansas 73-67).

“We’re grateful for the opportunity to play this exhibition game,” fifth-year Cincinnati head coach Wes Mille said. “It’s been a while since the Bearcats were in Fayetteville. It’s meaningful that our return is a way to spotlight mental health – an issue that touches countless lives – and to use our platform to raise awareness and support.”

Tipoff set for 7 p.m. CT and will stream on SECN+. Fine out more here.
