Jackets' starting CB Harvey still listed as out; Stone not on injury report

Georgia Tech head coach Brent Key started his Thursday press conference off with an injury update as usual as he said that his team will still be without a key defensive starter on Saturday during its ACC road matchup at NC State.
According to Key, listed as out is starting cornerback Ahmari Harvey, reserve safety Savion Riley and linebacker/special teamer Miller Forristall.
Coming in at questionable on the injury report is starting nickel Jy Gilmore and co-starting defensive tackle Matthew Alexander.
Listed as probable for Saturday’s game is starting wide receiver Malik Rutherford and co-starting center Harrison Moore.
Harvey has been out since suffering a lower-body injury vs. Virginia Tech on Oct. 11, and Gilmore, Rutherford, Alexander and Moore all didn’t play last week vs. Syracuse. Gilmore, Rutherford and Moore were all banged up in the game at Duke on Oct. 18 while it is unknown when Alexander suffered his injury.
Not listed on the injury report is co-starting defensive tackle Akelo Stone, who has been out since suffering a lower-body injury vs. Wake Forest on Sept. 27.
Riley hasn’t played since the season opener at Colorado due to an upper-body injury, and Forristall suffered a leg injury at Wake Forest. Jackets’ long snapper Will Benton IV was lost for the season due to a knee injury at Wake Forest as well.
The full injury report for both teams and the rest of the ACC for this weekend’s games will be available later at this link.
Georgia Tech (8-0, 5-0 ACC) and NC State (4-4, 1-3 ACC) will kick off at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday night at Carter-Finley Stadium in Raleigh.
