Rutgers Football LB Talibi Kaba to enter Transfer Portal
The Transfer Portal still doesn’t open for a few more weeks, but that hasn’t stopped players from announced their intentions to enter when the portal window opens on January 2nd.
Rutgers Football linebacker Talibi Kaba becomes the latest Scarlet Knight to announce that he will be entering the portal, a source tell The Knight Report.
The 6-foot-2, 230-pound linebacker hails from Newark, New Jersey and attended Hillside High School before joining the Scarlet Knights as one of five linebackers in the 2025 class.

Prior to arriving on the banks, Kaba tore his ACL and would go on to miss his entire senior year at Hillside High School. The year prior to that, he played both running back and linebacker, where he would have 95 carries for 1,117 yards and 12 touchdowns on offense and a few tackles on defense.
Out of high school, Kaba had an 89 overall rating per Rivals and was the No. 58 ranked linebacker and the No. 15 overall recruit in the state of New Jersey for his recruiting cycle.
Kaba redshirted this past season and will enter the Transfer Portal with four years of eligibility remaining to play elsewhere.
