What is your favorite travel ball memory?

My favorite travel ball memory is when, in our last game of the tournament, I was up to bat, we had two outs, and my count was 3-2. On the last pitch, I ended up hitting a home run that went over the scoreboard. My whole team and I were so excited because of the intensity of that game.

What’s the most important thing you’ve learned from a coach?

The most important thing I’ve learned from a coach is that an error you make doesn’t define you as a player.

How did you get interested in softball?

I became interested in softball by watching my first college game at the age of five.

What are your strengths as a player? What are you trying to improve on the most?

My strengths as a player are my hitting, my throwing strength, my ability to see the ball’s location at the plate, and my ability to put a mistake behind me and not let it lead into the next play. I want to improve on my throwing speed, my speed around the bases, and my footwork.

What player(s) do you look up to the most?

The players I look up to the most are Jocelyn Alo, Lauren Chamberlain, Tia Malloy, Jayda Coleman, Shaylon Govan, and Ashlyn Wachtendorf.

What are your favorite hobbies outside of softball?

My favorite hobbies are basketball and baking.

What excites you the most about playing college softball?

Making connections with my future coaches and teammates, being an inspiration to other little girls who love this sport, and getting to play at one of the highest levels in softball.
