Cooper Koch posts double-double in win over Ole Miss
The rise of Cooper Koch is clearly underway within the Iowa basketball program. Last year the talented forward saw his season end early due to health issues. The result was a redshirt year and with a new coaching staff, a whole lot of uncertainty. Instead of leaving for a fresh start, Koch stayed put and it is proving to be a great decision as he is thriving under the coaching of Ben McCollum.
That was never clearer than on Tuesday night when Koch posted his first career double-double, scoring 14 points and hauling down 10 rebounds in the hard fought win over Ole Miss. He spoke to the media after the win about his double-double and the progress he has made as a player under McCollum.
