Purdue lands commitment from DB Jo'Ziah Edmond
Purdue had added an eighth commitment to its 2024 class with a commitment from defensive back Jo’Ziah Edmond on Saturday night, making the announcement on Instagram. He’s on an official visit this weekend.
The 6-1, 185-pound Edmond could play cornerback, which would make him the second player at the position in the class, joining Indianapolis Franklin Central’s Hudauri Hines. Edmond also could be a safety, a spot that features a commitment from 2024 prospect D’Mon Marable.
Edmond is the third in-state player in the 2024 class, joining Fort Wayne North Side offensive lineman Jordan King and Hines.
Edmond played at Warren Central High in Indianapolis, but in December moved to Nappanee, Ind., where he’ll play at NorthWood High for his final season.
