Bijan Robinson is a Pro Bowler and Mr. 2,000 with the Atlanta Falcons

Everyone’s favorite Longhorn Bijan Robinson made the NFL Pro Bowl on Tuesday, after eclipsing 2,000 yards from scrimmage on Sunday. Robinson became the third Falcons player in franchise history to exceed the mark.

In a special moment for Robinson, he achieved the milestone in Arizona in a victory over the Cardinals. Meaning many of Robinson’s friends and family from his hometown of Tucson were there to see him do it.

“It meant a lot,” Robinson said. “To do this in front of Arizona, in front of people who supported me as a kid, obviously with my whole entire family being here; for me, this is a huge moment.”

Robinson, still just 23 years old, now has 5,376 yards from scrimmage. The third highest total in NFL history from a player 23 years or younger.

What’s crazy about Robinson is he’s still done all of this on a bad team and in a workload where he splits a lot of his carries with Tyler Allegier. I laughed at a comment I saw online which compared him to a Ferrari living in a trailer park. Though I guess it means there’s still relatively little tread off of Robinson’s tires.

A series on Sunday was a picturesque view as to how he’s made the most of his opportunities in the NFL so far. The Falcons scored in only three plays, all on the back of Robinson.
