Rutgers Women’s Basketball’s full 2025-26 schedule has been released.

The program announced its upcoming nonconference schedule in August, ahead of head coach Coquese Washington’s fourth year at the helm, with a near-entire overhaul of the roster and coaching staff. The Big Ten announced every one of its programs’ schedules on Thursday.

Schedule analysis

Los-Angeles Bound

The Scarlet Knights will make a trip to Los Angeles for the first time this century.

They go on the road to face the Trojans and Bruins to open up February, after being swept by the two at home last season. Rutgers played at Pauley Pavilion twice in 1994 and 1997 – both losses – while it has yet to play at the Galen Center before this season.

Bring the Pacific Northwest home

Conversely, the Ducks and Huskies come to Jersey Mike’s Arena to end the month of January after they, too, both won their regular season matchups against the Scarlet Knights when the team traveled out west.

Washington comes to Piscataway for the first time – the matchup in Seattle last year was the first meeting between the two – while Rutgers has hosted Oregon once, a 70-58 win in 1990.

Ending on the road

The Scarlet Knights’ schedule has a bit of a quirk towards the end.

Rutgers will spend the end of the regular season on the road for the first time in Washington’s tenure. In her previous three seasons, the regular season finale took place at home, against the Nittany Lions (2025), Wildcats (2024), and Fighting Illini (2023).

The last regular-season finale on the road came at the end of the 2021-22 season, when a Tim Eatman-led Scarlet Knights squad took down Illinois on the road. This year, they travel to Lincoln to take on Nebraska.
