Five-star two-way Addison DeRoche picks Florida State

The first weekend of the 2027 recruiting cycle, the Noles hosted a very talented group. Over the past few weeks, those players have gradually committed to attending Florida State. The Noles just landed the biggest commit yet for their class. Five-star two-way Addison DeRoche announced her pledge to Lonni Alameda and her staff on Thursday.
“A piece of my heart always believed I am meant to be a Seminole,” DeRoche said. “I have been guided by my faith in the numerous signs I have seen over the years, leading me to Tallahassee. I wholeheartedly know I will thrive under the direction and inspiration of FSU’s coaching staff and become the best version of myself as an athlete and in life.”
DeRoche solidified her spot as one of the premier two-way players in the class. She can climb the ladder with an elite rise ball spin, creating swing-and-miss movement, and knows how to use her craft to set up opposing hitters. DeRoche possesses sheer power at the plate, staying balanced in her approach and demonstrating the ability to hit for power to all fields.
