Caitlin Clark talks possibility of breaking the NCAA scoring record Thursday night
It has been the talk around women’s college basketball for most of the season. When will Caitlin Clark pass former Washington guard Kelsey Plum for the NCAA all-time scoring record? For a while on Sunday, it looked like she would do it at Pinnacle Bank Arena against Nebraska. However, she finished the game with 31 points, putting her just eight points short of the record. The Hawkeyes return home to Carver-Hawkeye Arena to face Michigan on Thursday night and the record is expected to be broken sooner rather than later.
Caitlin met with the media on Wednesday afternoon to discuss her feelings on breaking the record, dealing with the pressure of chasing the record and what family members will be in attendance on Thursday night.
