Jan Jensen excited about the team that she has for the 2025-26 season
Listening to Jan Jensen talk about her team, the feeling is that there is plenty of optimism around the program heading into the 2025-26 season. On the heels of a 23-11 debut season as head coach of the Hawkeyes, Jensen quite possibly has a deeper team, but it’s a younger team with nine total underclassmen on the roster. They’ll be tested early in the year with non-conference matchups against UConn, Iowa State, Baylor and Miami FL.
After practice on Tuesday morning, the second-year head coach met with the media discussing her expectations for senior year Hannah Stuelke, how the freshmen have integrated themselves into the system, how Emely Rodriguez might fit into the lineup and much more.
