Kervin Johnson commits to LA Tech
Kervin Johnson Jr. announced his commitment to Louisiana Tech earlier this week, becoming the 16th addition to the Bulldogs’ 2026 recruiting class.
Johnson, a 2026 wide receiver out of Tioga High School in Tullos, Louisiana, brings impressive size to the position at 6’3″, 190 pounds.
When asked why he chose Louisiana Tech, Johnson told BleedTechBlue.com, “They treated me like family, kept in contact daily, and always checked on me. I’m excited to be a Bulldog.”
He’ll arrive in Ruston with standout athleticism, boasting explosive measurables: a 44’9″ triple jump, a 6’2″ high jump, and a 21’2″ long jump — numbers that reflect his dynamic potential on the field.
