Tech Bolsters Backfield with Commitment from JUCO RB Ezell Jolly
Thursday morning, running back Ezell Jolly publicly committed to Louisiana Tech.
Jolly is a junior-college transfer running back from Kilgore College in Kilgore, Texas, and will arrive at Louisiana Tech with two years of eligibility remaining.
Explaining his decision to commit to the Bulldogs, Jolly told BleedTechBlue.com, “I’m a dawg, so it was only right that I became a Bulldog.”
In 2025, Jolly put together an impressive sophomore campaign at Kilgore, racking up 952 total yards and 10 touchdowns. The 6-foot, 195-pound back began his collegiate career at UTEP, where he recorded 371 yards and one touchdown on 90 touches.
A native of Melissa, Texas, Jolly also held offers from Kent State, UT Martin, Wofford, North Alabama, Indiana State, Incarnate Word, Houston Christian, East Tennessee State, Prairie View A&M, and Texas Southern.
