Barrett is currently ranked as the fourth-best player from the state and 115th overall in Softball America’s 2027 recruiting rankings. The four-star infielder has a ton of range as a defender and that ability transfers to the outfield if called upon, having a very strong arm as well. She has a ton of speed on the basepaths.
Shonda Stanton and her staff have produced a handful of the best hitters in the Big Ten and the country, the past few years, being a place where hitters want to go and thrive.
Barrett had camped and drew interest from other Big Ten and ACC schools.
