With Tate Rodemaker preparing to start at quarterback for No. 5 Florida State on Saturday in Gainesville, Warchant managing editor Ira Schoffel sat down with Rodemaker’s father — longtime Georgia high school coach Alan Rodemaker — to get more insight into the Seminoles’ signal-caller.

Rodemaker speaks about his son’s development as a player, the relationship Tate has with the Seminoles’ other quarterbacks, why his son has never looked to transfer to another school, and much more.

The longtime high school coach also jokes about how it went from Tate being his son, to him now being know as Tate’s father.
