Georgia Tech will make the trip to Winston-Salem, N.C. this weekend for a noon kickoff on Saturday against ACC foe Wake Forest, and the Jackets will be without four players ruled out due to injury.

Georgia Tech head coach Brent Key opened his Thursday press conference by giving a short injury update and in that he said that players that will be unavailable for Saturday’s game are center Tana Alo-Tupuola, tight end Brett Seither, safety Savion Riley and running back Chad Alexander.

Alo-Tupuola, who split time at center over the first three games with Harrison Moore, will miss his second straight game after suffering a lower leg injury in Tech’s Week 3 win over Clemson.

Seither has played in all four of Georgia Tech’s wins so far this season, recording two catches for 30 yards as he has been one of the four tight ends rotating in on offense along with JT Byrne, Luke Harpring and Josh Beetham.

Riley, a backup safety, hasn’t played since the Jackets’ season-opening win vs. Colorado due to a lower body injury.

Alexander has been out since the end of Tech’s spring practice due to an injury.

Georgia Tech’s full injury report will be posted along with the other teams in the ACC playing conference games later tonight at this link.

Tech will look for its first 5-0 start to a season since 2014 on Saturday when the Jackets visit Wake Forest for the noon kickoff set to be broadcast on ESPN.
