A pair of former Cowgirls are headed to Texas A&M after three seasons at Oklahoma State. Tallen Edwards and Micaela Wark announced they’ll spend their final season in College Station.

Edwards numbers were down somewhat this year, comparatively speaking. However, she hit .282 with three home runs and 18 RBIs and added four stolen bases. One of the things that you like the most about her is her ability to put the ball in play. She only struck out eight times in 149 at-bats. Also, she was solid defensively at third base with just four errors on the year.

As a freshman in 2023, Edwards was named as a Freshman All-American through multiple publications of the honor and hit .328 in her freshman campaign. In 2024, she was an NFCA All-Region selection and led Oklahoma State in runs (47) and walks (27). Additionally, she added 10 doubles and six home runs.

Wark, a Frisco, Texas native, began her collegiate career with a redshirt season at Kansas before transferring to the Cowgirls, where she developed into a key offensive contributor. Wark holds a career .283 batting average and made a strong impression during her freshman campaign in 2023, slugging 10 home runs and driving in 51 runs.

Edwards and Wark bring postseason experience and depth to an Aggies lineup looking to bolster its offense.

Texas A&M has also added former Missouri pitcher Taylor Pannell and Oklahoma outfielder Maya Bland over the past few days.
