Despite having several new faces, especially on the offensive side of the football, Alabama got a big opening week victory over Miami in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game on Saturday.
That contest marked the first time since 2017 that the Crimson Tide played a ranked Week One opponent, but the end results were still the same — an impressive, one-sided 44-13 final score.

Alabama’s next matchup will be against the Mercer Bears on Sept. 11. It will be the Crimson Tide’s first game inside Bryant-Denny Stadium in 2021. An opening line has not been set yet.
