Oregon lands commitment from punter Adam Barry
Oregon has received a commitment from a second punter in as many days.
Former Temple starting punter Adam Barry announced on Twitter on Thursday that he has committed to the Ducks.
A 6-foot-6, 225-pound senior who took the JUCO route to begin his career, Barry punted 63 times for 2,634 yards for an average of 41.95 yards at Temple in 2021. His longest punt of the season was 58 yards, and he landed 13 punts inside the 20-yard line while recording just one touchback.

Prior to his three seasons at Temple, Barry spent his freshman season at Independence (Kan.) Community College, which was featured in the popular Netflix show “Last Chance U.”
Barry’s commitment to Oregon comes one day after the Ducks landed a commitment from punter Ross James.
Both Barry and James are joining the Ducks as walk-ons.
The addition of two punters for the Ducks comes after last year’s starter, Tom Snee, was away from the program in the spring. Oregon’s only other returning punter, Will Hutchinson, entered the transfer portal in April.
